Roma, 24 mar. (askanews) - Il presidente statunitense Donald Trump ha ripetuto il suo ottimismo sul fatto che un accordo con l'Iran possa essere siglato nonostante a Teheran abbiano smentito presunti negoziati con gli Usa. "Penso che ci sia una possibilita molto buona che finiremo per concludere un accordo. Quindi gli diamo cinque giorni e poi vedremo dove questo ci portera", ha detto Trump parlando da Memphis, in Tennessee. "Stiamo avendo discussioni ottime", ha dichiarato il leader Usa secondo cui l'Iran "vuole la pace" e le discussioni in corso "sono molto buone".

So we give them five days and then we’ll see where this takes us,” Trump said speaking from Memphis, Tennessee. “We’re having excellent discussions,” the U.S. leader stated, saying that Iran “wants peace” and that the current discussions “are very good.” According to the White House occupant, “With Iran, we have been negotiating for a long time.... But this time they are serious. And it is only thanks to the excellent work done by our armed forces that they are serious. They want an agreement, and we hope we can achieve it.”
