@macrumors I thought I used Apple Maps to avoid that, as I handed them over a thousand dollars for the phone. Googleâs âexploreâ and âlocal vibeâ infuriate me whenever it pops up.
âYou know how you opened me to go somewhere? How about going over here?â Is not something I appreciate in a map.
A map that shows me what I want, not what it is paid to push - especially when it uses valuable screen real estate on functions they wonât let you turn off (all the social/local discovery bullshit tabs in Google maps.
I use almost all functions of the maps - driving, train, cycling, walking, touring, POI search, route planning etc. I am an apple one subscriber.
How many products/apps must we sacrifice on the alter of services/ad revenue?
