@slink You can say that, right? I have said basically, "I don't want to take your money any more" several times in my career.

I planned for it by keeping a lot of savings and an interest in running my own FOSS projects.

You absolutely do have that "freedom".

@hopeless @slink unfortunately not everyone does have the freedom to say so, if the person pushing slop is their boss (or client, etc), with the job market the way it is right now.
