"Our" crows asking for some morsels.
I observed many times that the larger male asks for food, then flies up to a tree and calls the smaller one to come and eat, often enough everything.
Social birds, caring for each other.

@canyakker you probably already know this but crows mate for life and they're likely a couple.
@mossyfoot Yes, they are. They have had their territory here for years. and fiercely defend it.
@canyakker I've made friends with our resident pair and another pair I figure may be related, and now they follow me around the neighborhood when I walk the dog.
@canyakker The scrub jays here do that too, one comes to the window to ask for peanuts, the other waits in a nearby tree.
@sunumbral I recommend the photos/videos of @wurzelmann - donator of peanuts, loved by the crows. 😊

@canyakker And they are even social with other animals. I'll never forget the cooperation between a young raven and my beagle mix dog. The raven even called my dog out of the house. It took some time to find out how they managed to outwit me! 😁

@canyakker With my pair the male collects everything and takes it somewhere the female can check out the stash later 🤝
@canyakker I’ve heard that they teach their young how to cross roads safely.
@mulberryroad Safest would be flying, but they are scavengers. Roadkill is attractive. Usually in late summer I notice that not all of the young ones learn to judge the speed of a car.
