Completely forgot to post about this fantastic discovery: that JT's Manukan serves pinangat! It's a Bicolano dish made of fish (or shrimp) wrapped in taro leaves and cooked in coconut milk.

When I first tried this dish in Naga several years ago, I instantly fell in love with it. It's savory and creamy but not cloying. So I'm incredibly happy that JT's has this in their menu! 💃

@luthien1126 That's a strangely unappealing looking foodstuff... It has to taste good... Well, maybe not, because some stuff from my kitchen is both ugly, and unpalatable, but I try not to make it again.
@JigmeDatse Hahaha! It really doesn't look appealing, but it actually is! Sometimes, the simplest looking dishes taste the best.
