one fun thing about being GenX is that I was in my 20s before I learned RPF existed. I'd shipped John Lennon & Paul McCartney in my head forever. Imagine Meilin from Turning Red except the Beatles instead of 4Town.

I sort of miss the heyday of Internet creativity in the 2000s. Once business corporations decided they should make money off of it, everything started to get more sanitized and streamlined. Social media became prominent and now it's...whatever it is now.

I keep thinking people should go back to making forums and blogs instead of relying on Reddit and Discord.

I say this, even as I have a personal domain and blog that I never update lol
