In particular, it is being criticized for inconsistency in the use of the term "Akawnts" as a Filipino translation of "Accounts", and then immediately using the English word "Feedback" with no Filipino respelling.
It also violates Filipino grammar rules for conjugating loan words by using "Pagdelete" instead of "Pag-delete".
Notably, the Linguistic Society of the Philippines opposed the appointment of the current KWF Commissioner Atty. Marites A. Barrios-Taran for lacking experience in linguistics, literature, and cultural studies.
