Waiting for my my first cold brew (er... room temperature brew) coffee to finish. So far:

1. Overnight is not enough.
2. Insane usage of ground coffee. CRAZY amount of ground coffee required. This is not great, unless it concentrates quite a bit.
3. Plus side: will definitely be good for hot mornings, when you don't want actual hot coffee.

TBD how this tastes with my own roasted beans, I was handed a already roasted packet of Kona coffee, which apparently was on the clearance aisle at Walmart in Kona, Hawaii a couple of weeks ago. Not bad, but coffee that was roasted a long time ago sealed into a bag most certainly has none of the flavor of fresh roasted coffee.

@ai6yr Im the easiest coffee drinker in the world: I hate all of it, so I dont find any single type "delicious". 😆

However I use it as a caffeine supplement, so as long as it has some of that I couldnt care less about the taste. If I could find something like "5hour energy" but with only caffeine, vitamin C, potassium, I would drink that every day. (5hr has too much B in it)

@jbrownesq 😂

What you need, is chocolate covered coffee beans. None of the coffee flavor, mostly just tastes like chocolate... full strength caffeine. I will turn to that if I am desperate and/or driving somewhere on a long distance drive.

@ai6yr haha! My wife tries this sort of thing with me all the time, but so far - nope. We tried Petes over the years, and I admit Petes is *probably* a step up from starbucks and some other crap, but still...

Its weird... I get an inner ear thing sometimes when I drink a stiff cup of coffee, but I can drink 230mg caffeine in a 5hour energy and I feel none of it. My ear starts making weird sounds. For many years now.
