This one is done and dusted...watch for it in the next Energy Mix digest which is sent out overnight.

With everything else going on, I'm not sure people are paying attention to what the Alberta Energy Regulator is up to...but they probably should be since Ottawa is proposing to offload more regulatory responsibilities to the province.

Expect less federal impact assessment, if the proposed cooperation agreement with Alberta gets the go ahead.

@JEmphatically What my problem is and I think it's the same for others. I believe the AER is corrupt from reading about their actions for so long and the oil favouring policies. The problem for me is I have nothing specific to address. For Albertan's this means all our environmental protections are red tape waiting for the shredder.
