#HugoAwards nominations are closing soon, so this is my last-minute eligibility announcement that I have two things eligible in Best Fancast: the Stitch & Bitch liveshow series and my BookTube channel The Fancy Hat Lady Reads!

Stitch & Bitch is a group liveshow series on YouTube that is hosted in rotation by myself and my co-hosts Di, Rachel, Reija, and sometimes Bree. We chat about what we're reading, crafting, watching, and more!

Stitch & Bitch has been around since 2019, and I joined as a host in 2022. We have been on the Hugo longlist the past two years, but have not yet been nominated. All of our past videos can be found in this playlist:

My second eligible project is my own #BookTube channel, The Fancy Hat Lady Reads!

I have been making bookish videos on this channel with a focus on #SFF for 10 years now. It is a documentation of my personal reading journey for the past decade. I wear fancy hats.

My own channel is near and dear to my heart for many reasons, but it has never made the Hugo longlist, so I am realistic about its prospects of being nominated (next-to-zero).

The Fancy Hat Lady Reads!

I read books and wear fancy hats! Hi! My name is Kelsey (she/her), and this is a BookTube channel. My reading preferences skew towards speculative fiction, including fantasy, retellings of fairytales and folklore, and some science fiction. I read books for all ages middle reader through adult. I post TBR videos, reviews, reading wrap-ups, book hauls, and such. I don't follow a strict upload schedule, but I usually post about five videos per month.

Though extremely unlikely, I feel I should disclose that should both Stitch & Bitch and The Fancy Hat Lady Reads! ever be nominated for Best Fancast in the same year, I would decline nomination for my personal channel in favor of the group project. You may do whatever you like with this information.
