It was low tide and calm today. I love the feel of the ocean spray and love our beaches. No playing in the surf for us on this beach though. The undertow is hazardous.

I wish I lived closer to the ocean. I am drawn to it, but have never lived nearby. Here in NEPA, I have traded many options for the natural beauty and seasonal changes of our rural mountains.
I would be comfortable and happy in many different environments. But I would surprise myself if I chose another this late in life? 🤷♂️
I lied: we lived in Virginia Beach, VA for a few years. That was a lot of fun! I learned to SCUBA dive, and dove on many WWII wrecks off the coast. Kids were very small, but also had a blast. 🙂
