Probably not the best time for me to be watching *The Pitt*. There’s a scene with a brother and sister in the ER with their dad, and a line about how they become the witnesses to each other’s lives — the ones who hold the shared memories.

That one hit hard.

One of the hardest things right now is realizing I don’t have that anymore. Even though my brother and I hadn’t spoken in years, he was still my brother. He was already gone when Dad died, so I stood there without that shared witness to our life.

Yeah… this one’s getting put on hold for now. Too much, too soon.

I'd love to hear some suggestions for TV shows or movies that I could watch instead. I have most of the major streaming services.

@BeautifulSunPhotography We absolutely adore Imperfect Women, mainly because you don't know FOR SURE who did what at every moment. Very fun. Also a favorite for me is Survivor...NOTHING is as hard as what they're doing on a daily basis, without COFFEE!! What else....1/2

we like Drag Race but that's not for everyone....we like Shrinking on Apple And a couple of Idris Elba series/movies there as well. Netflix has a lot of cooking shows that can be fun but I'm hooked on a couple of basically silent travel formatted posters on YouTube...Mei specifically. There are a couple of canal boat diary shows that are fun. Fascinating, though nothing I'd like to do. They take me out of whatever my current frame of mind is. xoxoxo to infinity

@Lizette603_23 Just finished re-watching Melrose Place - hadn't watched it since it was on TV back in the 90s. It isn't something I'd likely watch ever again, but it was a kick to watch now.

Used to gather with my coworkers and friends and watch every week - it was the only nighttime soap that we watched. We made fun of it and despised the stupid plot lines, but yet we kept watching, right up to the end. Sure isn't a show I'd have made Dad watch and hubby never would.

@BeautifulSunPhotography I did watch Divorced with SJP and what's his name lol it was less cloying than I expected and let me worry about someone else's problems for a minute
@Lizette603_23 Saw a preview for Divorced and wondered about it. That "what's his name" played Lowell on Wings and I wasn't sure I could get past that. Then again, when I first saw Modern Family, I didn't think I could get past Al Bundy and his history at Married with Children (but I did and absolutely love Modern Family).
@BeautifulSunPhotography Right now I'm nursing seedlings inside for the garden outside if the prehistoric dinosaur-like weather swings will stop so I can get them OUTSIDE!! lol That's a soap opera in itself.
@Lizette603_23 Ahhaha! What are you growing? Flowers? Veggies? Herbs?
@BeautifulSunPhotography Hi Deb...tons of veggies....cabbages, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, onions, garlic, summer squashes, storage beans, and a ton of flowers for the pollinators!! I grew enough herbs last year to last me this year too, so I'm good on those. Just waiting out the weird weather to get them all in the ground. I'm growing Hummingbird vine, zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, hibiscus, tomatillos, alyssum, marigolds, super bells, lobelia and probably more flowers!
