Alarming. Nothing has ever revealed a gulf between Threads and everywhere else like this has. This got ZERO engagements on Bluesky and just TEN on ActivityPub. It got over 5,700 on Threads. You can blame that on algorithm, but I think it’s cultural.

Is Threads more anti-Trump than the other two?
Is Threads more American?
Is Threads more meme-focused?

Just wondering as to me, so far, Threads is a black box and I’m trying to understand its place.

I really don’t know. It’s a very strange dynamic there. It’s not as high-brow as Blue Sky, or as low-brow as xitter, and not as even-tempered as the Fediverse. I’m getting a vibe that it’s very much the old center to center-left population from Twitter. Average folk needing a place to connect and vent without many needs or expectations.
