sussed out Naoyuki Onda for always drawing people in stiff hip-cocked pose with tiny pants and tiny hands and tiny thighs.

is the darker skin in the room with us

(half joke, i know that a lot of artists call beige a "tan" (like naruto being "tan" cuz his skin is pink instead of #FFFFFF white like sasuke)

also dirty unwashed hair JUST LIKE NORMAN REEDUS i'm telling you. someone reuse kojima's scans NOW

@scumsuck That does make me wonder now, what would YOU consider to be “tan” skin? I know that’s a word with a lot of leeway given to it so it can be hard to define. I guess, for me, tan would be on par with olive skin tones.
@naobeausca Personally I would say "tan" for me would start around 11 on this chart? And the marker they're using for the sketch in the last post is like... the 2nd lightest from this marker set I feel like HAHA. Markers are really weird, they never seem to have the 11-15 tan tone!
@scumsuck “Tan” in Japanese media really is fake cuz how is that tan?? But that’s interesting! That foundation chart gives some leeway for what they consider tan skin, but what they consider “deepest” skin is a little light to me. In my experience, dark skin is like these Sudanese women.
@naobeausca oh yeah man it was HARD to find a makeup chart that even had more than 2 dark tones. So many of them have 80 indistinguishavle light peach tones, and absolutely no gradient starting from tan let alone dark or darker!!! (It also frustrates me when seeing some artists online insist that no one is dark/cool skintone... When like you have posted, there's photos of real people right there!!)
