The fact that grandparents can sue for visitation with their grandkids in some provinces is absolutely fucked, to me. I imagine there are safeguards and, obviously, there are exceptions, but I'd argue there's generally a good reason when a parent doesn't want their own parents to have any contact with their children.

It is WILD how often people sympathize with the shitty parent instead of the kid who, against instinct and all social pressure, decided to go no-contact with their parent.

If your adult kids don't talk to you, that's absolutely a huge red flag. I don't care how "nice" you seem.
