@LeslieBurns feeling rather pessimistic today, as the whole DNC strategy smacks of "I don't want to disassemble the authoritarian police state, I just want to be in control of it" since it takes countless deaths, illegal wars, actions, etc, something being massively unpopular, and two or three months for them to roll out a "we should do slightly less of that!" campaign

I used to be in Hakeem Jeffries' district so I still get his emails for whatever reason, and in an email last week I saw a picture of him standing behind a podium that said "REIN IN ICE" and I just
