Ah, found it in a format from this century using the alternate title, Yellow-Faced Tiger.
But I might still watch in .avi for that vintage effect!
My OS's pre-installed media player (Celluloid) can't even play .avi! (Opened for a second then crashed.)
One plus for this avi: it's 4:3, better for my puny watch party setup (video & Mastodon all on one screen side by side)

The .mp4 I got:
1hr 46mins 2secs, Mandarin dub, widescreen
Never mind, I can't find English subs for the Mandarin version, so it'll have to be the 1hr 24 min English dub .avi for me
