this is more like actually continuing the same idiocy

@bweller Continuing after a long hiatus, I'd say — and after significant sectors of Christianity had begun to look with revulsion at that bloody history, at pogroms and murder of Jewish people (and Muslim ones), burning of "witches" and "heretics," support for slavery, etc.
