Happened upon a de-badged, ex-East Midlands Railway Meridian heading into #Euston.

#Lumo will be using these on their new service to Stirling which starts later this year and which will bring #DuttyDiesel back to this stretch of the line a few months after Avanti dropped their Voyagers for IETs.

Those Meridians have been worked very hard recently so they'll need lots of TLC both to improve reliability and to smarten up the interior.
I'm not convinced that I'd enjoy a multi hour journey in one in the current state & configuration.
