@mynoise Stephanie, just out of shear curiosity wouldn't anything attached to the gong alter its natural resonance?
@kfcrosby Yes, inevitably. But it will be negligible if the mass of what I have attached, the contact microphone, is orders of magnitude lower than the gong itself. A couple of grams, compared to 20kg of bronze.
