A website of mine was getting thickly attacked by bots. This has become even worse than in the last few months. My **Monthly Network Transfer** limits were under threat to be exceeded, at my cloud hosting provider. So I installed Anubis today to protect my site. Anubis can be quite tricky to install.

I'm keeping an eye on the bandwidth usage, now that I have the protection of Anubis. It's gone down about 40%. Ouch, I was expecting it to go down even more. Is it a ton of legitimate traffic? I'm suspicious of this, because it's still about 8x what my traffic used to be several months ago.

The traffic indeed calmed down, after installing #anubis. It was worth it!
