I thought the US was just going to commit a bunch of war crimes and get away with it. And now, the Mossad, the CIA, the Israelis and the Americans have been shown to be a collection of incompetent criminals.

The hubris of Trumpism really infects everything it touches.

And yet, Iran is committed to extract the guarantees from these losers that it demanded since the start.

@Migueldeicaza I don’t know if they’re just that stupid or if it’s some extremely criminal market manipulation literally paid for with blood, taxpayer money and alienating allies.

@thomasfuchs I think that both are happening. They are certainly doing a lot of insider trading, but not everyone is catching every opportunity.

I think they also had plans along the lines of “Iran is done in a week” that blew up in their faces, and some of those shorts/puts have gone sideways too.
