I would never call myself a German patriot (why should random borders from past wars matter after all), but otherwise this one is quite on spot about the current German government:

Für mich heißt "patriotisch sein" nicht "die Flagge schwingen", sondern aktiv daran zu arbeiten, dieses Land zu einem besseren Ort für alle zu machen.

The success of a country, for me, is not how well the richest are able to live, but how well it treats the least of its residents.

These oligarchs on both sides of the water think that showing where one's country is flawed teaches children to "hate their country". No, it shows them opportunities where people can work for their country to improve.
