If you are of a certain age and spent any amount of time playing StarCraft, you know that if you:

- find an enemy base early on
- grab whatever units you have on the map and send them straight at it
- just keep making more units instead of building your base and send them over as soon as they’re done

You are gonna get your ass handed to you

Congratulations, you know more about strategy than the US Secretary of Defense

@flyingsaceur

When I played the Civilization games and wanted to take a country, I was sure to beforehand get as many military assets in place as possible and try to make alliances with as many of their neighbors as possible.

I mean, I read Norman Schwarzkopf's memoirs, but you don't have to do that to figure this out. I did before I read them!

I figured this stuff out in my teens, no excuse for SecDef. But he's a drunk, his brain's probably fried from booze.

@flyingsaceur

Also, yell out that you know where their base is, and brag you are sending everything at their vespene factory.

You still know more about strategy than the US Secretary of Defense.
