Pax thinks that a gloomy Monday is best spent in bed.😊

Good morning, afternoon or evening to you! We hope your day brings good news that will encourage you. Please take care and stay safe.πŸ’•

@GertrudeZane absolutely agree with that sentiment
@akamran
Cats always seem to know what's best!
@GertrudeZane Pax is so ... adorable!!
@rickf
Thank you, from Pax and me!πŸ€—πŸ˜Ί

@GertrudeZane

Pax has company - Ringo ate his breakfast and then promptly went back to sleep on our bed. He usually only sleeps there at night when we're there.

Personally, I'll probably be fighting off the urge to nap if this gloominess continues. πŸ˜‰

Have a good Monday!

@Sharonbw @GertrudeZane

Theo is sound asleep on my bed. Maybe these cats have the right idea, and we're just being silly by insisting on being awake.

@joyce @Sharonbw
We need to listen to our cat's advice more often.
@GertrudeZane I know he's just a cat ,but damn, if Pax doesn't have some damn good ideas ;P
I should have stayed in bed. Summer looked close just a day ago, things have whitened up again and getting more in the next few days.. Spring snow

@Rasta
Spring snow is the worst.😝
Take Pax's advice and go back to bed (till summer if need be).

Hoping your day goes better as it goes along.

@GertrudeZane
Did you know about my Brother-in-law's passing?
In January he died, and his mental health had declined sharply. We only spoke by phone, no one had been in his place, until he didn't answer the phone and I went to check.
The house is a disaster, it's 5 feet deep in waste. He'd been hoarding. You have no idea how bad, or how embarrassing for relatives. I have a good neighbour that helped with big stuff but my wife and I alone are spending 4 hours a day in mask, sifting through, separating and bagging garbage and recyclables.

Heavy snow kept us out for a few weeks, now it's a daily adventure (except today with the weather, but I still had to visit to put garbage out for collection) and not pleasant.

To give you an idea, under wet newspaper, ready to throw in the bin, and discover unopened mail. Government cheques not opened or cashed, and can't be now.. a 20 bill here or there, forgotten purchases, and repeat purchases for unknown reasons.

Today is our day of rest

@Rasta
I'm so sorry about your Brother-in-law's passing. Please take care as you deal with disposing of his possessions and getting things back in order. It can't be easy, I'm sure.
@GertrudeZane It's yucky work, and thank you. He was once quite an intelligent man. There is no explanation for what we found. No one should have to do this work, but many I know, empathize with me, as they had the same experience when a close relative died and had been hoarding. There's no imagination ready for the things you encounter
