What is it with non-metalheads thinking metalheads have no musical ear or taste in other music?

It's like, you like noise for music and all noise is equal.

Nah! I specialise in noise which means I can distinguish non-musical noise from musical noise. Go listen to a metal artist do something non-metal and you'll see what I mean.

@Kitty I feel you, but you could also interrogate a lot of metalheads' opinions on, like, electronic music in the same manner.

@Kitty I think somewhat adjacent, I have doubts when claim to like all kinds of music. (For a metalhead it is usually also quite easy to disprove). Also, I don't like all metal and you want me to believe you like all music?
