I used to avoid asking simple questions…

I’d think, “Surely they have already thought of that…”

Or maybe they’ll be offended by my simplistic question...

Sure enough, someone more senior asks that same question, and it’s greeted with, “great question!”…

Now, I ask questions all the time.

I often prefix them with:
🟢 “Just for my understanding…”
