The “main goal” of the Iran War may have changed, reports Washington Post: “Israeli officials said securing the [Strait of Hormuz] for energy shipments could become the war’s main goal now that regime change and ending Iran’s ability to obtain a nuclear weapon seem out of reach.”

So the AIM is try to have what we had before the illegal war, but at higher cost and less fuel supply having bombed it.

And all for the cost of 200 Billion and counting

@ArrestJK ....and, just for rounding out the math, one could add in all the costs of sanctions, bombing, hunting for nuclear bomb building, etc of Iran after the epically dumb move of cancelling the JCPOA (multi-country Iran Deal largely curtailing their nuclear program AND providing a starting point for further negotiations on other matters between Iran and western allies)....that's gotta be multiples of 100s of billions....??
