Designed a custom 3D-printed DJI mic holder to strap to my bikes. It's probably overkill, but isn't that what makes 3D printing fun?

I used to use zip ties to strap the mic to my bike and then have to cut the ties after my rides and use new zip ties each time. It became a pain. Now I can keep the mount on and remove the mic when I wash the bike. And if I want to put it on another bike it's easy enough as well. 🙂

Also learned that fiber lasers engrave on black PLA nicely.

@mark Hopefully not too much to ask, but what settings on the laser? Been wanting to play with fiber laser and 3D prints, but haven’t had much luck on my few tests. (Acknowledging there are a billion variables that come into play).

@stratification it’s an f1 ultra and I used around 20% power, 2500mm/s and 300dpi. Definitely works best on dark colors. Lighter colors require more power and the effects are much more subtle.
