I need more good heist movies, but I think I have seen most of them. Anyone got any recommendations for recent heist movies in the vein of the Ocean's movies, Casa de Papel (which Netflix so boringly renamed 'Money Heist'), Now You See Me, and so forth, with a good ensemble cast?
@sindarina Lisa at Video Library, knowing my fondness for One Last Heist And Then I’m Out Of the Game recommended The Hot Rock https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068718/ … which arrived the week after RR died, so it was out. Yes, I also want something modern, but I trust her. (1/2)

Anyway she offered as an alternative Polite Society https://www.imdb.com/title/tt18257464/ which is not a heist but also not not, but is an absolute delight. If you watch the trailer, stop halfway through because the rest is from the climax.

(Also mentioned in the comments, Leverage, which TBH I can only take so much of even though it should be Extremely My Thing, is inspired by Hustle https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379632/) (2/2)

@BramMeehan OK, 'Polite Society' looks like it'll be a blast, I'm just going to buy it now to watch later 😄

Leverage is not available to me, sadly, and neither is Hustle. They both look on point, though, and Adrian Lester is great.

@BramMeehan By the way, if you want to link to movies, TMDB is often a great alternative, and includes JustWatch links when they are available;
