I'd seen a post on social media about #PaderiaBakehouse being at #DisneyCaliforniaAdventureFoodAndWineFestival this year, so I wanted to stop in and try some of their items. The social media post said they had Portuguese egg tarts but none of the signage in person said Portuguese. The tarts also were not as dark as I've seen in pictures of Portuguese egg tarts so I'm not sure what I had since I've never had them before. #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure #Disneyland 1/4

In any case, I ordered two egg tarts and one sea salt chocolate chip cookie.

$5.25 is a bit expensive for one egg tart, but it was delicious. The crust was definitely a butter bomb - you got heavy flavor and feel of butter in every bite of crust. (I'm not saying that's a bad thing.) The filling didn't taste different than Chinese egg tarts to me, though the husband did think it tasted different to him. 2/4

There's another place I've seen local to me that has advertised Portuguese egg tarts, and they're darker, so I'm going to have to try one sometime.

The cookie was very good, though it was much bigger / higher than I expected. It was almost like a muffin size! It was very tasty, but about 3/4 of it is now sitting in my refrigerator for me to enjoy this week. 3/4

I'm interested in the matcha cheesecake but I'm turned off by the white chocolate they say is in it, so I'm not sure about that. The husband will want to try the banana pudding on a later visit.

Their cart is located on the main corridor of #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure , across from Maters and near the entrance to Carsland. #PaderiaBakehouse #DisneyCaliforniaAdventureFoodAndWineFestival #Disneyland 4/4
