I'd seen a post on social media about #PaderiaBakehouse being at #DisneyCaliforniaAdventureFoodAndWineFestival this year, so I wanted to stop in and try some of their items. The social media post said they had Portuguese egg tarts but none of the signage in person said Portuguese. The tarts also were not as dark as I've seen in pictures of Portuguese egg tarts so I'm not sure what I had since I've never had them before. #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure #Disneyland 1/4
For the #DisneyCaliforniaAdventureFoodAndWineFestival today, we had also ordered the new-this-year Chicharrón Nachos: Chicharrón, chorizo, cheese sauce, tomatoes, and salsa verde. Again, the taste & flavor were great. The plating & presentation were baffling and just plain bad. This is not the kind of dish you put in a shaker. The choice of using what is effectively a bowl is completely wrong. It's messy to try to pick it up from the top and even messier with the sauce just on the bottom. It would have worked fine to use the plate like for the Asa'DOS, with the torta on one side, and the sauce in a separate little container or even just on the side, like the salsa verde on the other dish.

Lunch today at #DisneyCaliforniaAdventureFoodAndWineFestival included the following:
returning dish of Asa’DOS: Grilled skirt steak, chipotle chicken, Spanish rice, and salsa verde. The salsa verde was terrific. There were two tortillas underneath the steak, so I ended up using mine to make a taco with some rice and a bit of steak.
