Binged season 1 of The Expanse this weekend. (I know, I know, I'm behind) All I can say is my goodness, was Wes Chatham born to play Amos Burton or what?
(And I think everyone else is really good too)

@quadrivial I just watched it a few weeks ago. I gave up (originally) after a few episodes. Glad I went back. Amos had to be just about my favourite character too. Over the seasons I quite liked his development too. There is still only one actor I did not like from the first run. I think the acting, compared to the rest, was demonstrably sub-par and stood out because of that.
Overall, quite a nice show. Loved the set design, costumes, and the realistic approach to the issues of living in space.
@quadrivial Not any of them. The captain's expressions, or limit to 2 was a bit annoying. That is avery standard for Hollywood archetypes like him though.
Avasarala is an absolute joy too. Quite liked everytime she was on screen.
One other thing I liked that gets a lot better in later episodes are the accents. Sort of an afterthought in season one, but becomes a very well defined part of the world building later on.
