**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.** On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it happen. Join us. Lots of cool restaurants nearby, make a day of it! A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. This is *the* event to make it to ! Let's make it a huge success! Invite your friends ... your neighbors ... your family ... your co-workers ... your groups ... There are a lot of unhoused people near this corner - we will also be collecting CLEAN gently-used jackets and hats and socks ... clean your closet out and bring what you have in a plastic ziplock bag ... feel free to add a juice box, or water and a little snack -- they really seem to appreciate any kindness! Also, let's remember to bring any and all pantry stable items for the San Diego Food Bank -- they are struggling more than ever as more and more of our community is being terrorized by ICE! So, make your plan early - we are going to be having one HUGE Block Party with all of us fun-loving human beings! Bring your kids! Bring your parents! Just show up and support! Can't stay -- drive by and BEEEEEEP loud and long! Better yet, drive by and hang a sign our your window in support! (Passengers only, please!) We are Peaceful! We are also LOUD!
