@johnefrancis The Senate IT department is scathingly negative about Mastodon. They do not think I should be using it myself.

Because it is abundantly clear that X and the Meta products use their algorithms to sway elections and influence governments all over the world, and no reason to think this doesn't include us. @johnefrancis
