Howcome ICE is getting paid while TSA isn't?

Dave Wilburn Right. Specifically, they got a shitload of funding from the One Big Beautiful Bill -- several years' worth.
Unfortunately, Congressional Dems can't directly target ICE. They can only filibuster to withhold appropriations from other parts of the government. The strategy they've settled on is to withhold appropriations for all the other parts of DHS that aren't funded until the Trump regime relents on issues like body cams, warrantless entry into homes, etc. My understanding is that Congressional Dems have offered piecemeal funding for TSA in a compromise bill, but Congressional Republicans have refused to accept that compromise.
Brian BenderAIUI, in the "big beautiful bill" gag they not only budgeted for ICE, they also appropriated the money, while everything else in DHS still needs further appropriation legislation?
