@KayJanes haha! I think what’s extra special with them is that I can’t grow a garden of fungi… I just have to observe them in nature when they decide to display their fruiting bodies!
@kbelisari0 That's what I enjoy about them too. Like the unusual number of amanitas we had at our local park this past fall. After seeing a pile of leaves on top, I decided some parents grew a bit concerned about the ones growing next to the playground.
@KayJanes Oh lovely! I have yet to see those mushrooms. Even seeing the unusual in terms of quantity (as you mention) is really neat!
