Concordia (2013) - Corsica
2P; 70 min; 110:121 🙃
Von Galactic Cruise gestern, reisen wir 12 Jahre in die Vergangenheit und sind bei einem vollkommen anderem Spielgefühl.
So gut wie keine Downtime, kurz(-weilig), spannend und trotzdem anspruchvoll, wenn auch auf einem anderen Level; von Überproduktion keine Spur.
Concordia hat sich nach unserer (viel zu späten) Entdeckung sofort in unsere Herzen gespielt. Mittlerweile ist es bei mir auf Platz 5 - grandioses Spiel! 😍

@jerk Das muss ich echt mal ausprobieren. Ich mag viele Spiele des Autors und dieses bekommt ja total viel Lob.

@drbillbongo @jerk I liked Transatlantic but the colourblind issues were a problem. Thankfully the sequel/reimagining that is Crossing Oceans fixes the flaws of Transatlantic.

@lordsplodge @jerk Good point! I've never played Crossing Oceans but this (and the extra board) would be good reasons to get that if you don't already have Transatlantic.

@drbillbongo @lordsplodge Transatlantic or Crossing over seems to be a good pick at first glance, without having alook at the rulebook. But 7 Empires isn't largely rewarded for being good played at 2P, which is the majority of our plays. So, rather a no-pick, except you say differently.

@jerk @drbillbongo Yeah both Transatlantic and Crossing Oceans work great at 2P. Not really heard of 7 Empires but on investigation it looks to be like Imperial or Imperial 2030 and yeah those games need almost max player count to shine. They do not work two player despite what the box says.
