Sometimes I think about the girl I knew who was working for Disney, helping train their AI to approve or reject scripts for TV shows and movies, based on already existing TV shows and movies that were popular.

I thought that was terrible.

"The creatives need to be reined in," she said to me, without a speck of self-awareness about the fact that she was trying and struggling to get someone to turn her script about two lesbians in a BDSM relationship into a movie.

@MLE_online if they were thinking to expand their market, an interesting approach would be to build a system that looks at proposals that satisfy criteria that a potentially new market segment would like.

since you're referring to Disney, i guess i was wondering why they even bother since they just keep remaking the same old stuff.

@dr_a probably so they can get rid of the humans who have to review scripts and have something that reviews without emotion
