Just in case you thought Labour's restriction on protests was limited to its proscription of Palestine Action, now Animal Aid has identified aspects of last month's amendment to the Public Order Act that make demonstrations against animal testing facilities almost impossible.

Not only is this illiberal it also shows a woeful lack of understanding of how any future Govt. might use such undemocratic measures (not that Labour seems that interested in democracy).

Hence the rush: first to abolish Jury Trials, then to make as many "offences" Summary as they think they can get away with; eventually all.
The destruction of Legal Aid was part of this: no trial, no representation.

Add Orwellian Surveillance, read proof of whatever they want it to be of; no more Digital Rights or any expectation of privacy, "Digital ID", making everything online then restricting access; voting is becoming a quaint notion...

The Police State is nearly complete. It cannot tolerate criticism, dissent or any form of challenge.

Meanwhile, the environment is in collapse, water and food are already under threat; eFeudal systems are taking over.

None of this has happened in isolation, most of the laws are DECADES old and either went unchallenged at the time or those who spoke up, stating what they would enable were dismissed as alarmists / cranks etc.

In short we did do this to ourselves.
Now, how to UNdo it ALL?
