[Match Thread] Carabao Cup Final: Arsenal F.C. v.s. Manchester City - Lemmy.World

Lemmy

we’re doing okay, but man it’s nervy. Especially the second half of that half.
It was difficult to break out. Still feel we’ve had the best chance/chances.
Definitely, but not many in the later part of the first half. City has had a lot of possession, but it’s mostly with 10 Arsenal players between the ball and Arsenal’s goal.
kepa…
Doing us a favour and proving why he’s maybe the best backup keeper in the league, but can’t ever claim that he deserves to be #1.
Just put Dowman on, what have we to lose
fuck the crossbar
I already feel like I want to vomit I’m so nervous
Did anyone catch why Eze isn’t in the squad? Assume injured.

Hincapie is dealing with the early yellow card pretty well. For a few seconds they were talking about him being substituted before the half was over, but then things calmed down on that wing, and it doesn’t seem to be because Trossard or Rice is helping Hincapie out more often.

Still, I think it might be smart to think about having someone else come in at that position before the end of the second half.

Another 0/10 performance from the referee, incoming.

Raya should have started this game. I never bought into the talk about giving it to Kepa because he’s played up to this point and it would be unfair to take him out for this one.

It’s a final, and you play your best team IMO. No exceptions.

It’s a league cup final. The unimportant final. Give it to the unimportant keeper.
Ffs i dunno what to say anymore
Prime Chelsea-era Kepa showed up today. Wonderful.
This hasn’t been worth the 3:30am kickoff. I’m off to bed. 😥
