#Gmail suggests ending the sentence "Where should I have them shipped (to)?" with a preposition? I thought this was something we said in the #Midwest that is regional and not standard #English. Is English going to adopt something this like #Dutch "naartoe"?

Einheitsbrei (das, noun — German) /ˈaɪnhaɪtsbraɪ/
Literally: Einheit (unity) + Brei (mush/porridge). A compound noun describing a homogeneous, undifferentiated mass — originally referring to a bland, uniform baby food paste, and by extension, anything reduced to a featureless, lowest-common-denominator sameness.

Example usage: "Das Fernsehprogramm ist nur noch Einheitsbrei." ("The TV programming is nothing but homogenised mush.")
Connotations: uniformity, mediocrity, the flattening of diversity — often implying institutional or commercial pressure as the cause.
cf. Gleichmacherei (levelling down), Massenware (mass-produced goods)
