Fuck, I’d swear off women if I had the choice. Most of my hobbies and my job are male-dominated, plus, the amount of women I click with is just lower than the amount of men.
I have the opposite problem. I’m a male and I “click” with mostly women. I’m married and all my other female relationships are purely platonic, given my wife and I are traditionally exclusive to each other, but I don’t really “get” most men.
I’m also autistic as fuck, so maybe that’s why.

There have been a few of these studies. One had an author misrepresenting data. But single women are shown to be happier than single men across age groups iirc. Older single men are happier than younger single men. Married men and single women I think compare on happiness with some having single women happier.
Oh and married men live longer.
