Good on Jorginho for speaking out and defending his (step-)daughter. Not a big surprise though, since he’s always been a top guy.
That security guard was completely out of line. And the singer’s silence is not a good look for her at all.
Poor kid. She didn’t even bother Roan. She just walked past her table at a restaurant and smiled. And she’s only 11 years old? That’s pretty respectful for that age, honestly.
I’ve still got Hot to Go stuck in my head ffs, need her stuff gone from my internal playlist. That’s so bad from her.
also yeah I cannot believe anyone defending Roan in this. A child, whose family are much more famous than Roan and has herself had to deal with paparazzi from a young age, and therefore probably had a decent idea on how to be respectful. And you made her cry.
And why would Jorginho of all people make this shit up?
MHPengwingzFrom the previous accounts of the artist not handling fame well, plus the fact that Jorgi does not post shit like this ever… I’m more inclined to believe he is really really pissed off.
If the kid literally went up to annoy then fine…but if she only just walked past and smiled and you find that it intrusive to you? Maybe that’s a you problem not the kid’s.
Looks like Chapell Roan issued a statement about it today. She said the security guard wasn’t employed by her and she doesn’t know who he was. And that it was unfair if the guard to assume the girl was harassing her, because she barely even did anything and Roan didn’t even notice her. And she feels bad for the little girl and mother because they did nothing wrong. Fair enough.
Could be a security guard at the hotel. But yeah, it does sound a bit dodgy I suppose.
