#WordWeavers 22. Is there a subject that’s represented poorly in media that you’d like to cover in your work?

relationships. i'm not in the majority with this but i hate reading about toxic relationships, or characters who are always arguing with each other and throwing tantrums. i understand why writers do this, but you don't have to reach for every possible conflict in a story if your other conflicts are sufficiently interesting.

i don't think it's realistic for relationships to be conflict-free, but people in healthy relationships generally manage to handle their disagreements without constant yelling, or destructive behaviour.
