Captain AggravatedI would swear that the definition of “metal” has changed. There was a point in time Bon Jovi and Def Leppard were considered metal. Nowadays it seems that “metal” music is required to sound like your head is submerged in the oil sump of a diesel engine.
And you know what? I like metal heads, they tend to be cool folk who…appreciate their senses differently than I do somehow.
Bourff“Metal” is a very wide genre. There’s not a lot in common between e.g. Nightwish and Full of Hell. I personally wouldn’t put Bon Jovi and Deff Leppard in there, they’re more what is called “hard FM”, but like every genre the borders are fluid.
One that basically doesn’t have a definition. It has started to only mean the chuggadachuggadachuggada Nordic throat attack music…
