@solsetur I actually just have a Switch 2, PS4 and a Xbox Series X. I play retro games on them.

@solsetur FYI I have an unnecessary number of handhelds, from OG GB through all the nintendo and Sony, up to Steam Deck and Switch 2. I have a MiSTer FPGA stack for the classic consoles since easier than keeping old hw running well. Used to have a bunch of them my lack of space etc made switching to a MiSTer an easier life.

@TomatoGrilledCheese someone on famichiki has it and strongly recommended it, plus it seems to review very highly as well. The size should be perfect for musuko’s kid hands (which is really my justification for getting it haha. The pocket analogue is not something I feel comfortable leaving him to play with on his own)

@solsetur Right on. If you know how to torrent, look for "Smoke Monster ROM Collection." That's the best set of ROMs for most of the consoles you might want. They are all sorted etc, so you don't have to do much.
