Prototype working for a passive (no power) low pass gate with vactrol, featuring switchable film capacitors for filter character changes. Sounds really nice!

@dtauvdiodr that picture sure is quiet though

@dtauvdiodr what? your just gonna drop that and have like NO other electronics in your feed!? ARG.

p.s. have you ever tried to work out a tone set for your tinnitus?

@RueNahcMohr LOL don't worry, I've been on a hardware build hiatus because of trying to find a job, and now that I'm employed again (!!!) I get to spend more free time building... I am playing a set at ImprovCon in August.

Reproducing tinnitus sounds is difficult for obvious reasons, but I do know the frequency range where my ears are failing. The problem is the sound can be extremely harsh and trigger the migraine, which I want to avoid.

@dtauvdiodr yea, I have started to notice every time I'm feeling run down, my tinnitus is ringing like hell. I'm not sure what comes first.
One of the tones freaking sounds like its 12kHz till I put a tone gen on a speaker and started sweeping, it was only like 1kHz.
@RueNahcMohr I've had several audiograms and consistently show hearing loss around 750-800Hz. I can tell when I am playing audio that things are hitting that range, so I have to be careful about volume.
@dtauvdiodr I missed this most excellent bit of news. Congratulations!
