
A couple of our friends were university professors in Arica, and they eventually went to a farmer's field in Arica #Chile and stole 15 pounds of green tomatoes. As nobody would sell them to us, they thought they were poison toxic to eat! We had a big party and Tristan and I cooked them for a dozen people.

Tristan was great at cooking #Mexican food - and we had a couple parties where we cooked Mexican food that they did not have in Chile or Peru. We even had to make corn chips from scratch flour. The local corn chips were so over-salted we had to wash them in water.
