If we bring our best we’ll be hard to stop because we have a better side than they do.

I’m fluctuating wildly between “meh, it’s only the league cup” and “fuck, we really need this to get the trophy ball rolling!”

I’m also bracing for the inevitably extreme reactions from the media and pundits.

If we win it will be: “Arteta’s Arsenal has finally arrived and will now win the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Champions League, the World Cup, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, and the Nobel Prize for Physics!”

And if we lose it will be: “Arteta brings nothing but failure, and they will be relegated next season!”
